Contactless Video Head Impulse Test
A mobile measurement and analysis system that brings the Video Head Impulse Test to a contactless, portable form. Using a phone’s front camera and a custom stand at ~40 cm, it tracks head and eye movements simultaneously — eliminating the goggles and dedicated sensors of conventional vHIT hardware.

Image processing replaces dedicated hardware
Camera frames are analysed with advanced image-processing and motion-tracking algorithms. Feature points from the face and eye region are tracked and converted to head and eye time series. The data passes through filtering, noise reduction, time synchronisation and stable-tracking stages to produce reliable measurement data.

What the system measures and protects
Two interfaces, one measurement pipeline
The mobile app handles bedside acquisition — start a test, capture the impulse, see results immediately. The Windows desktop app adds detailed examination, recording, reporting and patient management. Both share the same analysis engine and synchronise through the cloud.
